Writer’s Block and I am About to Pull My Hair Out

I am having a really hard time with Jeremy. I realized that I didn’t have an over all plot for this book.

How embarrassing!!

But I think I might have figured it out. Keep your fingers crossed

  1. I like your book cover! As a new author myself who is currently going through all the fun parts of self publishing through create space I can understand your pain. What I have learned in the past 8 months while writing the first book of my Triology, “The Jaxon Effect,” is that writers block only comes along when I send my story in a direction it has no business going. So if this is the beginnings of a new book maybe this is not the character you are supposed to be writing about yet. I learned to allow the characters to become the drivers of the story. Its like they are the story tellers and I am just translator. With my own book I feel very blessed that these characters decided to take residence in my creative space. If you have it figured out then Kudos to you but if you haven’t then take a look at who else you have written, maybe there is a voice that wants to be heard first. I struggled for days and days and days on how and where I would end book one. It wasn’t until I gave myself an ending that allowed for endless possibilities in book two that my literal headache went away. It was that headache and feeling of a overstuffed brain that told me I had it all wrong. Gio with your gut and you can’t go wrong!
