So I am sitting here, innocently working on getting the word counts for Chapter 4 and 5 when I catch the end of what was saved to Chapter 4 in my documents. It was the crappy middle part that I had replaced. I was panicked because I could have sworn that I saved it before I closed it and I was unsure of my ability to remember every thing I had written from that point to the end of the chapter.
I then remembered my figment! To post your writing on figment you have to copy and paste directly from the document. I had managed to copy the correct ending and when I saw that I was so relieved. I swear I was about to cry.
It bothers me because I try to maintain a fairly regular amount of saves while I write. Needless to say, all is well, but I am not ever going to have such a noob moment again! I swear!
Have you guys experienced a moment like this?
